Street Figures Hanger & Golden Suspected Killers Of Hamburger Surrender To Police

Suspected killers of transport union boss Hamburger – real name Rasak Bello – have surrendered to the police.

They are Samson Agbeyoye popularly known on the streets as “Golden” and Babatunde Saka the character bearing the appellation “Hanger”.

The duo are said to be in police custody after giving selves up.

They surrendered to authorities on June 20 according to information available.

Lagos state police commissioner Fatai Owoseni says about the development “When the incident occurred, the command indicated that it would not be swept under the carpet. Investigation has been on since then and pursued with all sense of seriousness. The principal suspect, Samson Agbeyoye alias Golden and one Babatunde Saka have been in our custody. They have volunteered useful statement to the police and will soon be arraigned in court for prosecution.”

Hamburger was gunned down during a shadow election held by the lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress.

His death sparked off violent reaction by his friends and loyalists in a development that kept the public on edge while it lasted.
