‘’ Someone So Lowly & Frivolous’’ – Ondo Gov Akeredolu’s Son Babajide Comes Hard On His Father’s Opponent Ahead October 10 Gubernatorial Election

Babajide, the son of the re-election seeking Governor of Ondo State has come hard on one of his father’s main opponents.

Babajide branded Agboola Ajayi ‘’someone so lowly and frivolous ‘’ for making a corruption allegation against him.

Agboola is the gubernatorial candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) for the Saturday, October 10 gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

The ZLP candidate claimed Babajide benefited N433million out of N4.3billion naira discovered in a hidden account owned by Ondo State.

Agboola made the allegation during the flag-off of his gubernatorial campaign on Saturday at Ore, Adigbo Local Government.

The Deputy Governor claimed that Babajide got the money under the guise of ‘consultancy fee.’’

Reacting to the allegation which paints his father’s administration as corruptly benefiting family members, Babajide asserted that ‘’ “It is evil and most wicked to make such allegation’’ and added that it ‘’can only come from someone so lowly and frivolous.’’

Governor Akeredolu’s son, Babajide’s reaction which threatened a court case against his father’s political opponent and monitored by societynow.ng on dailypost.ng reads in part‘’ “I find it imperative to state unambiguously that I do not hold any political office.

“It is evil and most wicked to make such allegation that exist mainly in the minds of Hon. Agboola, the ZLP candidate and his ilk against me.

“I state with emphasis that it is the greatest disrespect and an intentional distortion of facts for the said Gubernatorial candidate of the ZLP to state inter alia that I siphoned Four hundred and thirty-three million naira of Ondo State’s funds under the disguise of consultancy fees. This allegation which I deny, can only come from someone so lowly and frivolous and unexpected of anyone who holds the high office of a Deputy Governor.”
