The Governor of Anambra state, Charles Chukwuma Soludo has buried his father.

Papa had a befitting living and today we gave him a decent burial.
I am grateful to God for his grace through this mourning period, as no time is ever the best to lose a loved one.
We thank all our friends, colleagues and associates who joined us through this time.
Particularly, I want to appreciate His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, who was represented by His Excellency the Vice President, Kashim Shettima GCON, for joining us in paying a deserving last respect to our Father.
I thank the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu for his presence; my brother Governors who came around, serving and former members of the National Assembly; former Governors and all Ndi Anambra who joined us in this moment of grief.
I do not esteem their presence and contributions lightly.
We will continue to live out the legacies my father has left behind.
Even as I continue to pray that we all will experience the bliss of an old, fulfilled life.
