Service Degradation: First Bank Says All Payment Platforms Are Up

First Bank has declared that all its payment platforms are up.

The update comes 8 hours after an apology to customers for the “inconvenience ” caused by “service degradation” and and assurance that “the issues will be resolved shortly. “

“All our platforms are up and running to serve you better. Thank you for sticking with us.” the bank stated in a follow-up message to customers.

The “Service Degradation” which is bad service on the side of the customers happened on the platforms of First Bank with Adesola Adeduntan as Chief Executive Officer on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

A message apologizing for the development was sent around 1.50 pm by First Bank while the update on solution to the issues was provided at about 9.39 pm.

Here is the message updating the customers sent by First Bank…

“All our platforms are up and running to serve you better.

Thank you for sticking with us.

Keep transacting across our channels for convenient and seamless banking experience.”

FirstBank has made it a point of duty to notify customers and apologize for disruption of service on its payment platforms – and notify of them when the issues have been resolved.
