There is an ongoing political realignment in Osun state.

Sources claim fragmented opposition party, People Democratic Party is speedily adopting the shape of a force to be reckoned.

And the game changer is identified as the death of popular Senator Isiaka Adeleke.

His sudden death has pitched his family, supporters and sympathisers against the incumbent government and ruling party in the state.

Ironically Adeleke was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

But family and supporters insist his death is offshoot of ambition to become party candidate in the upcoming gubernatorial election in the state next year.

They point accusing fingers at political players within the APC.

This stance is said to have transformed them rallying point of the opposition PDP.

Sources claim leveraging on the angst of the Adeleke political structure, considered very strong in Osun politics , the People’s Democratic Party stake holders keen to rip power from the APC government have kick started a movement to for the party to bounce back riding on the sentiments of Adeleke’s death.

‘’something big is coming…we talking and reconciling party leaders, APC will be shocked’’ an insider boasted.

Checks revealed before he defected to the APC, Senator Adeleke was a powerful PDP Chieftain.

‘’his people in talks with the PDP are said to retracing their talks on the philosophy the what they have suffered in the APC far outweighs the grievances that forced them out of PDP and a return to their former party to work against the APC is apt justice’’ a source explained.
