Senator Adeola Yayi’s Chief Campaigner Shares Photos Of Councillors Across Ogun LGs Backing His Guber Ambition

Kayode Odunaro, a senior aide to Senator Solomon Adeola, has shared images of councillors across the 20 local government areas of Ogun State backing the gubernatorial ambition of his principal.
Senator Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, is widely regarded as a frontline aspirant in the race to determine the successor to Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Odunaro, a grounded and influential media handler, is widely seen as the go-to person for everything relating to Yayi’s political engagements and messaging.

On Friday, December 12, 2025, Odunaro shared several photos on his social media page with the message:
“Yesterday, on behalf of THE INCOMING OGUN ’27 Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA, I received and delivered the message of the Distinguished Senator to councillors from the 20 LGAs of Ogun State in Abuja, FCT, during their Annual National Conference of the National Councillors’ Forum of Nigeria (NCFN). These ones are Yayified… if you know, you know.”

“The Incoming Ogun 2027” is a popular street euphemism for the next governor of the state, while “Yayified” is a slang used by passionate supporters to signal strong backing for Senator Yayi’s gubernatorial ambition.
The move is part of a series of calculated social media engagements and political signalling by Odunaro to buoy the ambition of his principal amid rising speculation of a possible knockout from the race — allegedly from unexpected quarters within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
