Segun Adewale “Aeroland” Denies Lagos West Senatorial Ambition

THE governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), in the just concluded election in Ekiti State, Otunba Segun Adewale popularly known as OSAPraPra has distance himself from the purported campaign image with PDP logo for Lagos West Senatorial District circulating on the internet.

Adewale while fielding questions from journalists on Wednesday afternoon in Ikeja Lagos, said that he did not authorize any person or group nor have told anyone that he is coming out to contest for Lagos West Senatorial election under the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), urging the public to disregard the image because it does not emanate from him or his campaign Office.

He said he was shocked when one of his close associate sent the image to him, saying that it has gone viral on the internet, Adewale who also confirmed that he has been receiving calls from different political families concerning the “fake campaign image”.

Adewale who maintained that, he is a politician of note with empathy for the masses, who wants a developed and better society where good education, healthcare, prompt payment of salaries, agro based economy, human and and infrastructural development will be the focus of elected leaders, stated further that on an account that he would run for any elective position or join another political party, that such decision will be made known to the public through a press briefing and not through such a caricature image sent by some people who wants to ride on his political goodwill.

Adewale has warned that those with the habit of creating unnecessary speculations with his good name should desist immediately, he also said having just concluded a governorship contest in Ekiti State, asking if it makes any sense to jump out again to start campaign for another elective position within few months?.

Adewale said while he is open to Interacting with friends and families in other political parties, some people scheming for their personal interest should not take undue advantage of that, clearly warning that an attempt to dent his political reputation will not be taken lightly should anyone found again spreading his image or his brand name without due authorization.
