Segun Adewale the gubernatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party in the just concluded Ekiti state gubernatorial election has declared an interest in another political position.

The politician popularly called Aeroland – the trade name for his businesses – has indicated interest in becoming a Lagos Senator.

And it is under the platform of People’s Democratic Party.

Aeroland lost out in the bid to become Ekiti state Governor to All Progressives Congress candidate Kayode Fayemi.

The showing of the ADP candidate was generally tagged ‘’dismissive’’ in the Ekiti state gubernatorial contest.

Originally a PDP member, Aeroland was forced into the fold of ADP when Governor Ayo Fayose refused to entrain his pleas of becoming PDP candidate.

And barely a month after the lost Ekiti gubernatorial election, Aeroland returned to his political base in Lagos state and picked up the gauntlet of another challenge.

He wants to become the Senator representing Lagos West at the Senate.

And posters announcing the latest have started springing up about town.

And no!. Segun Adewale is not contesting on the platform of the party he prosecuted the Ekiti gubernatorial election.

The posters announcing his latest political ambition bear the logo of the People’s Democratic Party.

Adewale contested the same position in the last general election(2015) and lost to serial winner against him, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola – better known as Yayi.

Interestingly Yayi just returned from a misadventure of a campaign to become Ogun state Governor.
Adeola is engulfed in an intense fight within his fight to retain his senatorial ticket.
