Sanwo-Olu Shocked Lagos Assembly Rejected 17 Commissioner Nominees – Insider

A very close aide says Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is shocked that 17 of his cabinet nominees were rejected by the Lagos State House of Assembly.

The Assembly with Mudashiru Obasa as Speaker confirmed 22 and rejected 17 out of the 39 cabinet nominees nominated by Sanwo-Olu.

Sanwo-Olu is said to be shocked by the development according to information credited to his Chief of Staff, Gboyega Akosile.

“Akosile said the governor was shocked that some of his nominees were not confirmed by the House of Assembly, but sounded optimistic that the governor would resolve whatever the issue might be very soon” a report monitored by SocietyNow.Ng on the sunewsonline.com stated.
