Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu added a touch of culinary flair to the 2024 Lagos Food Festival, themed “A Taste of Culture,” as he showcased his cooking skills alongside renowned Chef T on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

The festival, a vibrant celebration of Lagos’ diverse culinary heritage, proved to be more than just a showcase of local and international cuisines.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, used it as an opportunity to connect with the food-loving community and highlight the importance of the food and agriculture sectors in Lagos’ economy.

Speaking about the event, the governor said, “We are all about boosting small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in the food scene. Over the past five years, my team and I have been dedicated to empowering small businesses through public-private partnerships, which has sparked a vibrant community of agripreneurs in Lagos.”

He emphasized that the festival, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, serves as a launchpad for culinary talent and innovation.

The event has grown significantly over the years, bringing together stakeholders in the food and agriculture industries, fostering collaboration, and creating opportunities for aspiring chefs and entrepreneurs.
