Road Crashes: FRSC Trains 2,493 Dangote Cement drivers

reaffirming the Corps’ commitment to safer fleet operations nationwide.

 Moving towards achieving significant reduction in crashes involving heavy duty vehicles, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) successfully trained 2,493 Dangote Cement drivers at Ibese and Obajana plants between 3rd–17th August 2025. 

During the exercise, 2,731 trucks were thoroughly inspected for roadworthiness, reaffirming the Corps’ commitment to safer fleet operations nationwide.

The drive for safety continues as another round of training for Dangote Cement drivers at Okpella and Gboko plants is scheduled for 1st–5th September 2025. 

This annual certification programme not only equips drivers with the right knowledge and discipline but also strengthens the collective fight against road crashes on Nigerian highways.
