Emerging details have it that Minister Nyesom Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara are inching toward a settlement in their raging political crisis.
The crisis saw Fubara fight off the threat of impeachment and in return sacked all known loyalists of Wike encircling him – including the Local Government Chairmen.
Wike, the immediate past Governor of Rivers State against all odds single-handedly installed Fubara as his successor.
Whispers of conflict of interests started flouting barely two months after Fubara was sworn-in.
The whispers transformed reality in the last 48hours with Fubara openly declaring he is ready for whatever happens.
Insiders, however, disclosed that Wike has retreated and opted for a reconciliation. And Fubara has agreed to tow the same path.
