In the build to the 2019 gubernatorial election in Ogun state, Adams Oshiomhole as the chairman of the All Progressives Congress was a major force against immediate past Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Oshiomhole – working in concert with others – frustrated Amosun’s plot to determine his successor.

The chain reaction of the development resulted in the suspension of Amosun from the All Progressives Congress.

Oshiomhole talked tough while Amosun sulked in the thick of the political fight that gave the former governor a bloody nose in his state.

Barely six months a picture that appears to tell the story of a reversed status has emerged.

Amosun’s loyalists insist Oshiomole is in trouble and needs Amosun’s influence with President Muhammadu Buhari to weather the storm.
