Toby Okechukwu, the deputy minority leader at the Federal House of Representatives lost out in the People’s Democratic Party ([PDP) primary election held over the weekend.

The result stops his planned 4th term in the National Assembly – if upheld by the appeal committee.

Okechukwu is crying foul play in the primary election won by Anayo Onwuegbu.

The 4th term seeking federal lawmaker represents Oji River/Awgu/Aninri, Rivers State.
