Reps Member Jimoh Ojugbele Receives “Devil Of A Slap”, Severe Beating At Owanbe Party

Sunday, July 21, 2017, House Of Reps Member, Jimoh Ojugbele attended an Owanbe party.

But rather than the usual “honourable” reception, he was used to, the Ado Odo Ota Federal Constituency (0gun state) representatives got the other of the bargain.

He was given “A devil of a slap” by angry constituents.

And not just that, severe beating that saw his clothes torn.

The crime of the federal lawmaker?

According to Yemojanewsng.com, those who accosted him at the social event held at Ota Sports Centre, Ilo – Awela road – his base- claimed bad representation and demanded explanations why he abandoned his constituency and failed to provide them with proper representation at the national assembly.

Rather than engage them, Ojugbele who is accused of staying in Isolo, Lagos with occasional visits to his constituency since he secured office opted to walk out on the “individuals”.

In retaliation one of the group was said to have drawn him back by his cloth and delivered what sources describe “a devil of slap” on his check.

The victimized lawmaker’s attempt to fight back against his assailant reportedly earned him a severe beating from other members of the group as kicks and punches were delivered freely on him.

His clothing got torn as he was tugged and pulled here and there by his assailants.

As the story spread about town, the supporters of the All Progressives Congress chieftain said to possess ambition of moving to the Senate in 2019 are claiming a “set up” by political opponents to paint him in a bad light.
