Recklessly driving Singer Portable caused a stir at his former base on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.
He ran over the wares of a trader with his vehicle and assaulted an Okada man (commercial motorcyclist) that came to the victim’s rescue.
SocietyNow.Ng gathered that development transpired in Ilogbo, Ota area of Ogun State.
The singer – real name Habeeb Okikiola – was resident in the area with his married elder sister before he found fame but has remained a constant visitor to the area.
“Portable drove recklessly and scattered the wares of yam seller. The woman’s stall is less than a minute’s drive from the garage and by the road. He was driving his white Range Rover” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.
SocietyNow.Ng further gathered that the singer who hit the limelight with the song Zazoo zeh featuring Olamide and Poco Lee towards the end of 2021 did not stop after the incident.
“He just zoomed off and the trader took a bike and when after him and they caught up with him at Oposuru area but he refused to attend to them and took off again before the okada man blocked his car near 4/10 hotel in Araromi and he forced him to engage them after he used his car to hit the bike in an attempt to force it out of his way” according to information at hand.
Added revelation has it that the Singer got down from his Range Rover – a surprise gift he got in December 2021 – and started raining punches on the Okada man that brought the trader.
“But the man didn’t touch him, he was just assaulting him until some people intervened and the trader he scattered her wares involved some policemen in an unmarked bus following the singer. The policemen stepped in and spoke with him on behalf of the trader and gave her some money. Less than N5,000 or so, but he didn’t give anything to the Okada man despite breaking his tail light when he hit the bike ” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.
More information revealed that the singer is known for his reckless driving anytime he comes to the area.
