The laying of the foundation to rebuild the over 200-year-old Falawo Market on Ewusi Street, Sagamu Ogun state into a new Ultra Modern place of commerce has been done today, Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

The laying of foundation was done by stakeholders led by the Akarigbo of Remo, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi.

Cross section of Market leaders with Akarigbo, to Akarigbo’s immediate left are Iyaloja General of Sagamu Local Government – Chief Olasonde Oduwaiye and Babaloja Falawo Market – Chief Kunle Makanjuola.

The development officially kick-starts the rebuilding of the iconic place of commerce in the heart of Remoland, Ogun East.

The reconstruction of the Market, situated on over one acre of land, is being done by Clay Hall Properties with a formidable wealth of experience under his hat, Ayo Ojuroye as lead person.

Akarigbo at the event sitting next to him is the Vice chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Comrade Isiaka Salami standing in for the Local Government Chairman, Afolabi Odulate

Once completed, the first of a kind in the area and its environs would boost – among other facilities – 2 banking halls, a fire service outlet, a hall for market meetings and other functions, an ATM gallery, over 55 convenience and parking spaces for over 44 cars information at hand revealed.

The change in the status of the Iconic Market which is getting passionate support from stakeholders from far and near also comes with an addition to its name – New Falawo Akarigbo Market Sagamu.

Clay Hall Properties will also be in charge of managing the ultra-modern market, when completed, to ensure a seamless operation aimed at endlessly boosting commerce through maximizing user experience for buyers, sellers, and window shoppers according to those in the know.
