The oldest market in Sagamu, according to those in the know, is on its way to becoming an ultra-modern place of commerce.

Sagamu is the heart of Remoland, Ogun East in Ogun state.

Information at hand revealed that Falawo Market located along Ewusi Street, Sagamu has been floored and arrangements in place for the beginning of reconstruction with a groundbreaking ceremony in a couple of days.

Insiders disclosed that taking the lead on the project is Clay Hall Properties with wealth creator Ayo Ojuroye as the brain behind.

The real estate company takes charge of the iconic market for buyers and traders to enjoy improved experiences – with the larger aim of significantly boosting commerce.

Added information has it that the initiative has the passionate support of the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, and the Chairman of the Local Government, Afolabi Odulate.

Seated on over one acre of land, when converted to an Utra-Modern Market, Falawo would boost – among other facilities – 2 banking halls, a fire service outlet, a hall for market meetings and other functions, an ATM gallery, over 55 convenience and parking spaces for over 44 cars.

The market is about 200years old according to those who should know.
