Real Reasons Ladoja Announced Death Of His Guber Ambition

Rashidi Ladoja, the popular Oyo state politician has announced the death of his gubernatorial ambition.

The former governor – kicked out of office thanks to the machinations of late cult figure Lamidi Adedibu – declared on Political Circuit, a programme on Fresh FM that he is no longer interested in becoming the governor of Oyo state.

He was one of the politicians who lost out to incumbent Abiola Ajimobi and had reportedly had plans to become the next Governor until his disclosure on Saturday – October 28, 2019.

Checks, however, revealed that Ladoja’s exit from the Oyo gubernatorial race is to boost his chances in another contest.

He wants to become the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party.

And his interest in becoming Oyo Governor had transformed an emerging campaign against him.

“He simply opted to quash one ambition to bolster his chances in the other” a source disclosed
