Fresh details have revealed why Tunde, the son Senator Tunde Osinowo – more popularly known as Pepper – says he is not interested in becoming his father’s successor at the Senate.

Sources disclosed that Tunde as the firstborn has taken up the mantle of leadership as the head of the Osinowo family and is working to consolidate his hold on the affairs of the Senator who died of Covid-19 barely a year in office.

Societynow.ng learned that the affairs encompass a firm hold on the businesses of the late Senator and providing emotional stability, especially for his mother and grandmother.

Insiders disclosed that it has been a case of ‘’ daily tears’’ over the death of the late Senator for, Mariam his widow.

‘’They were extremely close, very very close. You know Alhaja Mariam is the only wife of Pepper and they were extremely close. She is still devastated by his death and Tunde and his sibling are still trying to comfort her’’ societynow.ng learned.

Insiders disclosed that there is also the case of the 90years old mother of Senator.

‘’Outside of trying to strike an emotional balance at the home front, there is also the case of trying to keep the businesses of the late Senator on course. Tunde came to the realization that his job is already cut out for him and, a handful without adding the frenzy and political landmines that come with trying to succeed his father.
