“Protest” As Gov Akeredolu Names Lagos Lawmaker As Ondo Commissioner

There is an ongoing quiet protest in Ondo state.

And it is all about the naming of multiple term lagos lawmaker, Omowunmi Adetunji – Edet as commissioner by Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu.

Edet was a member representing Isolo axis at the Lagos state House of Assembly for more than a term.

Her name is one of those just sent to the Ondo state House of Assembly by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to be confirmed as Commissioner in the state.
According to statement released by Segun Ajiboye, the spokes person for the governor other names in the list of 18 include Mr Taofiq Abdulsalam, Rasheed Badmus, Solagbade Amodeni, Adegboyega Adefarati and Saka Ogunleye,
Others are Mr Donald Ojogo, Yemi Olowolabi, Dr Wahab Adegbenro, Funso Esan, Wale Akinterinwa and Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan.
Also on the list are Alhaji Olurimisi Ismaila, Femi Agagu, Prof. Bayonle Ademodi, Lola Fagbemi, Timilehin Adelegbe and Kola Olawoye.

Omowunmi’s inclusion is said to have sparked off ill talks and political angst within the ruling party in the state – All Progressives Congress -, since it became public knowledge.
