Prince Babington-Ashaye’s Funeral Details Released

The funeral arrangement of Prince Olumiuyiwa Adewunmi Adewunmi Babington Ashaye has been released.

The information available to societynow.ng revealed that the 88year old who passed on, on August 12, 2021, will be buried on Friday, October 22 in Ogere, Remo Ogun State.

According to the funeral details, the activities leading to his internment on Friday will begin on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, with a service of songs at Vantage Point Events Centre on Acme Road, off Agindingbi Ikeja/Ogba, Lagos state. It is scheduled for 5. p.m – 7. p.m.

The Service of Songs will be followed by the Laying-in-state on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Oba Babington Ashaye Crescent Omole Estate Phase 1, Ikeja Lagos State.

A Commendation Service scheduled for 10. a.m holds on the same day at St Judes Anglican Church Omole on Ademola Ajasa Street Omole Estate Phase 1.

The burial activities earmarked for Thursday ends with a wake keep service at the departed soul’s residence at Obalende Ogere Remo, Ogun State. The time is 4. p.m – 6. p.m.

The burial scheduled for Friday, October 22, 2021, is scheduled to start with a 10. a.m funeral service and Thanks Giving at Christ Anglican Church, Ogere Remo Ogun State.

The burial – a private interment – comes after the service at the Babington Ashaye’s residence on Obalende, Ogere Remo.

The burial activities will round off with a reception for guests at Ositelu Memoria College, Ogere Remo Ogun State.

The family insists “all Covid-19 health and safety protocols will be strictly observed.”
