Powerful Association, IPA Elects New National Officers

The Igede-Ekiti Progressive Association (IPA) penultimate Saturday elected its new national officers to going forward, steer the affairs of the association.

This took place at the King’s palace in the presence of the Kabiyesi Onigede of Igede-Ekiti; His Royal Majesty Oba James Aladesuru II and the Oba in council.
Those elected at the stakeholders’ meeting were;
1. High Chief Henry Adebayo Fadairo (AIG rtd) – National President
2. Chief Remi Olowoloba – National Deputy President
3. Elder Bosun Ajayi – National General Secretary
4. Mr Adebayo Olufemi Victor – Asst Geneneral Secretary
5. Mr Kayode Ige (FCA)- National Financial Secretary
6. Elder Rotimi Dada (FCA) – National Treasurer
7. Mr Adeola Owoeye (FCA) – National Auditor
8. Yeye Bolanle Olatunde – National Publicity Secretary
9. Pastor David Oladapo – National Organising Secretary
10. Barrister Bayo Ayo – National Legal Adviser
11. Barrister Akin Aribisala – Asst. Legal Adviser
12. Alhaja Ranti Omoya – Women Representative
13. Mr Ayo Bolofinde – Youth Representative
14. Barrister Felix Olaolorun – Immediate Past President & Ex-Officio.
15. Barr Ajibade – Vice President (Lagos Zone)
16. Dr. Sunday Oluyemi – Vice President (Abuja Zone)
17. Mr Ayo Olomola – Vice President (Ibadan Zone)
18.Mr. Olu Ogunleye – Vice President (Ado Ekiti Zone)
19. Mr John Oluwajuyigbe – Vice President (Igede Ekiti Zone)

Also, the following distinguished sons of Igede – Ekiti were appointed to revive hitherto vibrant branches. They included Prof Bayo Fakunle (Ile-Ife), Engr. Phillips Adebolu (Port Harcourt), Surv. Tunsin Anise (Ilorin), Dr Olumotemi Aladesuru (Akure), Dr Deji Aturamu (Ikere Ekiti) and
High Chief Ola Ogunrinde (Ido Ekiti)

In his acceptance speech, High Chief Bayo Fadairo pledged to work together with his team to reposition the IPA as well as attract economic and infrastructural development to the town. Both the Onigede and the Adara of Igede; Chief P.A.O. Adeleye also admonished the new executive to hit the ground running and bring developmental projects to the town. Oba Aladesuru thereafter prayed for the new executive team for a successful tenure of office.
