Singers, with their lyrics, provides lens into the world of the high mighty – and sometimes the not so high.

And that is what singer Olamide Adedeji as done with his newest song ‘’Wonma’’.

Societynow.ng gathered that the song which talks about ‘’the insatiable appetite’’ of women is a window into the rots in marriages of ‘’high society’’ based on the gists that floated the way of the singer who is loved by many.

The song which exploits uncensored languages in its delivery emphatically propagates the message that irrespective of how hard a man strives to take care of his wife others will have their way with her.

‘’Won Ma Do’’ (paraphrased as ‘’they will commit adultery with her’’ for want of a more upscale language) is the chorus that laced the song decorated with claims that irrespective of a  husband’s prowess in bed, birthday gift of venza (car) to the wife, birth of a child by the wife, use of charm on the wife by the husband, doggedness of keeping watch on the wife by the husband, the immense wealth of the husband, hosting of a lavish wedding by the husband, take the wife to America for shopping others will ‘’have’’ the wife.

‘’Who are you? You, whose wife has been had!’’ Olamide lyrically emphasized in the song which has started attracting controversy.

Societynow.ng gathered that the song re-enforces the whispers that a lot of marriages, especially in highsociety, are riddled with unimaginable mess, lack of morals.

Some wealthy men are said to make a sport out of targeting the wives of friends or superiors for sexual pleasures.

Some are said to target the wives of others as payback of sort for whatever ever offence taken.

Some see targeting the wives of others as validation of their own virility or ego as a ‘’conqurerer of women’’.

‘’Whatever the excuse, it is a menace that has taken hold of high society and responsible for a lot of collapsed marriage or marriage existing only in name for materials gains of the partners’’ societynow.ng gathered.

The royals are not left out, the wives of kings, billionaires, governors, political godfathers and other men of power are targeted in this sickening sport societynow.ng learned.

‘’The song by Olamide just blew everything open without mentioning names. It has given weight to whispers about certain people and hopeful provides caution with the stuff now in the open rather than fuel it’’ a source stated

Societynow.ng gathered that the line ‘’ ‘’Who are you? You, whose wife has been had!’’ now shortened to ‘’Who are you?’’ without the ‘’ You, whose wife has been had’’ has taken up a life of its own in a manner that is threatening the peace of many couples.
