Police In Frantic Search For Mohammed Babangida’s Children!

Men of the nigerian police are in frantic search for children of Mohammed, son of the former military President Ibrahim Babangida.

This development is the fallout of raging custody battle between the younger Babangida and his ex wife, Rahma Indimi.

Mohammed and Rahma, his first wife have severed marital ties in what is fast turning out unpalatable affair.

Husband and wife have held on two children each, of the four produced by the collapsed union. Mohammed in a bid to have all his children under one roof had reportedly secured a customary court order directing his former first wife to handover children with her to their father.

Digs revealed Rahma and her backers are currently contesting the court decision with a counter suit at an FCT Area Court.

”They are challenging the of the customary court verdict and manner it was obtained” a source divulged.

Sources however claim while this plays out, Mohammed Babangida initiated moves carry out the decision of the Customary court but met an unexpected obstacle – the children at the centre of the custody battle are nowhere to be found!.

Information available even against background of claims that the mother and Mohammed’s ex wife Rahma currently in Saudi Arabia and the search narrowed down to her sister Zahra as serving as surrogate mother a source asserted ”the children’s whereabouts remain unknown”

Details available to societynowng.com have it that men of the Nigeria Police drafted in to the case to carry out the customary court verdict that granted custody to Mohammed are now faced with a missing person case.

Societynowng.com learnt though there are pressures from the Babangida’s camp to turn the case as ”kidnapping” against his ex wife’s younger sister.

This is said to be based on assertions Zahra is currently keeping the children somewhere against their will to prevent Mohammed from having access to them.

But the police are said to be cautious of embracing this theory because of lack of ”credible” evidence(s) that supports it.

They are treating it as a missing persons case for now societynowng.com learnt.

The search for the children is said to have been narrowed down to Sunnyvale estate, a popular estate in the heart of Abuja.

Additional revelation have it that Zahra angry with the slant things have taken is said to have gone public with the matter on social media making multiple charges against Mohammed and his supporters as the collapsed marriage cum children custody battle continue to adopt unexpected dimensions.
