Madam Silifat Ajoke Osifowora, the mother of city lawyer Bosun Osifowora, has been laid to rest.

It was a celebration of a life well spent, brought to a close on April 25, 2025.

The final journey of the 79-year-old, who passed away in March 2025, began with a Night of Tribute on April 18 at the Osifowora family home in Ijebu-Ife, Ogun State.

This was followed by a Wake-Keep held at Teslim Balogun Stadium on April 24.

The final burial ceremony on April 25 was a grand reenactment of the preceding events—elaborate and well-attended by high-profile guests from various sectors.

Sources say the calibre of individuals who came to pay their last respects throughout the ceremonies is a testament to the immense goodwill the Osifowora family has garnered over the years—goodwill that city lawyer Bosun Osifowora continues to build upon.
