The pictures show Aregbesola with political figures outside the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mimiko whose child got married is also not a member of the APC.
Aregbesola who is taking steps to strengthen his political might in Osun state is at the heart of an intense struggle
over control of the APC in Osun state with other stakeholders led by former Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
The former Minister for Interior has become a talking point with Omoluabi progressives, a political structure defined as a group of the original members of the APC in Osun state.
The group has become a home to Aregbesola’s loyalists and supporters as well as those who share his sentiments
on how to play politics in Osun state, especially regarding how the APC should be run.
