Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has shared a deeply emotional account of his participation in a praise and worship service held in memory of the late Mrs. Abisola Kola-Daisi, daughter of former Oyo State First Lady, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi.

The service, hosted today at the Ajimobi residence, brought together family, friends, and well-wishers in an atmosphere filled with songs of worship, solemn reflection, and communal strength in the face of profound grief.

Governor Abiodun described the gathering as “deeply moving and spiritual,” noting that it was not only an opportunity to mourn, but also to celebrate the life and legacy of Bisola, whose memory continues to inspire those she left behind.

“As a parent, I can only begin to understand the pain of losing a child,” he shared. “But I was truly inspired by the grace and fortitude shown by Mrs. Ajimobi and her family.”

The governor emphasized the powerful sense of unity and support felt throughout the service, with voices lifted in praise and thanksgiving for a life marked by kindness, love, and positive impact.

“Surrounded by the comforting presence of friends and well-wishers, we lifted our voices in praise, not only to mourn, but to thank God for Bisola’s life and the light she brought to those around her,” he added.

Governor Abiodun offered heartfelt prayers for continued strength and peace for both the Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families, expressing hope that they find solace in the legacy Bisola leaves behind.

“Her legacy of kindness, love, and impact will not be forgotten. I pray that God continues to uphold the Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding,” he concluded.

He ended his message with a solemn prayer: “May Abisola’s soul rest in perfect peace.”
