People Of Kwara State Fully Behind Tinubu For Another Term – Gov AbdulRazaq
citing ongoing infrastructure projects and reforms as proof that his policies are delivering results.
Kwara State governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says residents of the state are fully in support of President Bola Tinubu securing another term after 2027, citing ongoing infrastructure projects and reforms as proof that his policies are delivering results.
Speaking on Saturday during an inspection of the 49-kilometre Eiyenkorin–Afon–Ojoku–Offa–Odo Otin road project, AbdulRazaq said Tinubu’s developmental agenda is already transforming the state through the federal tax credit scheme, under which the road is being funded by BUA Group.

“Who will say ‘no to President Tinubu’ after seeing all these investments done at the state and elsewhere?” the governor asked. “This is Ilorin/Offa new road, and you can see how solid it is. We have to thank President Bola Tinubu for this project. It is a major achievement. When completed, the travel time from Ilorin to Offa will be 30 minutes. This is a good investment and another product of the Renewed Hope Agenda. It shows that the policies are working.”
AbdulRazaq said the president’s reforms are steadily trickling down to the grassroots through infrastructure spending, social protection programmes and efforts to strengthen security.
He added that the road project, one of four major highways being built in Kwara under the scheme, will improve connectivity and stimulate economic activities.

The governor, accompanied by his special adviser on special duties, AbdulRazaq Jiddah, and the chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Shehu Raheem Adaramaja, also praised BUA Group for the quality of work despite the rainy season. “The quality of job being done by BUA is first class,” he said. “They are also working on the Bode Sadu–Kaiama–Kosubosu road, and the standard is equally high.”

Site engineer Abdulsalam Onaolapo briefed the governor, assuring that the project will be completed on schedule.
AbdulRazaq later inspected the renovation of the Primary Healthcare Centre in Okesho, Asa LGA, and paid condolence visits to the families of Daudu Ballah and Abdulkadir Kawu Yahya. He also attended the fidau prayer for former state accountant general Suleiman Bayero.
