Osun Govt Workers Suspended For Rejoicing Over Defeat Of Gov’s Candidate In Senatorial Election

For rejoicing over the defeat of the Mudashiru Hussein, the candidate backed by Governor Rauf Aregbesola in the just concluded Osun West Senatorial election, three government workers are on indefinite suspension.

The individuals identified as Kunle Makanjuola, Gbadebo Adepoju and Folakemi Alonge, all employees of Osun State Broadcasting Corporation reportedly hailed, hug and shouted in praise as Demola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party was declared winner over Mudashiru Hussein of the All Progressives Congress in the Senatorial Bye Election.

The APC controls the state. And Mudashiru was fiercely backed by state Governor Rauf Aregbesola to win.

Some of the top shots of the state owned broadcast station who towed the same path with the Governor frowned on the action of the three staffers.

A decision to send them on indefinite suspension for unbecoming conduct was arrived at and effected.

The trio are said to be indefinitely out of work.
