The Deputy Governor of Osun state, Otunba Titilayo Laoye- Tomori recently suffered a surprising humiliation.

She was pelted and chased out of a party event with pure water sachets!

And shockingly, it wasn’t the opposition that did this, but supporters- from the same political party, the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).

The reason behind this conduct? The deputy governor is yet to make good electoral promises she made to them.

The incident happened at a sectional party event in, Ibokun area, within Obokun Local Government, Osun state.
The episode transpired about two weeks back.

Sources claimed the Deputy Governor had attended the political gathering to ‘touch base’ with her supporters.

She got more than she bargained for when representatives were given the chance to air their grievances against her and the regime she serves.

Her attempt to defend what was generally tagged ‘insensitivity’ to the plight of the supporters resulted in the gale of pure water sachets that ‘chased’ her out of the place.

She reportedly suffered multiple verbal abuse and jeers in the process.

She escaped with ‘no major injury’ as aides forming human shield around her absorbed most of the ‘water explosions’, sources confirmed.

The matter is being kept as low profile as possible.

One of the spoke persons for Osun state Government, Semiu Okanlawon did not respond to enquiry on the matter when contacted.
