One Of The Noticeable Changes Since Sonola Took Over As Polaris Bank C.E.O

It appears the tenure of Adekunle Sonola, the new Chief Executive Officer – and group managing director – at Polaris Bank has kicked off with instant impacts.

One of the most noticeable changes speaks to the aged business quotes about performance – the state of the signboard tells a lot about a company.

The signboards in this case are the social media handles of the bank recently decorated as  the “Best Digital Bank”  and ‘MSME Bank of the Year” 

The social media handles of Polaris Bank – verified Polaris Bank Ltd – on Facebook and Instagram have become more trendy, interactive, and drawing increasing engagements.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that unlike before, the bank is making use of these platforms to connect better with its public proffering solutions to customers’ challenges and putting out the bank’s products and activities in “relatable ways”.

“And there is a huge use of graphics, and visuals which is a very good thing. The bank is getting a better hang on positioning itself as a brand for all ages on social media and all things being equal this speaks to a more positive internal transformation regarding services and such offerings” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

The transformation has zoomed up Polaris Bank’s numbers on Facebook from not there to two hundred and fifty-seven thousand (257,000)l ikes and two hundred and seventy-four (274) followers and Instagram to sixty-five thousand (65,000) followers with one thousand three hundred and thirty-eight (1,338) posts and following one hundred and nineteen (119) accounts.

“These are impressive increases in numbers, visibility for Polaris Bank within this short period because the growths are organic and this is comparing with where the bank was” SocietyNow.Ng learned.

 It is less than a month since the new Group Managing Director with over 33years of experience under his belt took over.

He resumed office on Monday, October 24, 2022 on the heels of the acquisition of Polaris Bank by Strategic Capital Investment Limited (‘SCIL’).

Sonola’s tenure as the man in charge of Polaris Bank kicked-off with a new Board Board that retained the immediate past chairman Alhaji MK Ahmadof and an Executive Director, Segun Opeke.

The new Chief Executive Officer declared that his team will leverage the foundation provided by the immediate past Board of Directors to lead the Bank into “a new era of sustainable growth” SocietyNow.Ng confirmed.

And he is said to be threading the path with a ” rollercoaster of activities, engagements” within and outside the bank ever since.
