The burial will hold on Friday, June 17, 2022, according to the information by the Catholic Diocese of Ondo State.
Over forty persons died as a result of the mass shooting at St, Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo state on Sunday, June 5, 2022, by yet-to-be-identified perpetrators.
The deadly attack also resulted in injuries to many parishioners.
The mass burial will take place at a new cemetery on Emure Road in Owo according to information credited to Reverend, Father Augustine Ikwu, the Director of Social Communication for the Diocese of Ondo State.
