Ondo Assembly Confirms 15 Conmissioner-Nominees

The nominees, who underwent thorough screening by the House’s Selection Committee, were declared competent, experienced, and well-equipped to serve in their respective portfolios.

Deputy Speaker Ololade Gbegudu, presenting the committee’s report during plenary, praised the nominees for their wealth of experience and readiness to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development agenda.

Speaker Olamide Oladiji, while congratulating the nominees, urged them to work closely with Governor Ayedatiwa to ensure effective governance and the delivery of dividends of democracy to Ondo residents.

The speaker added that the 16th commissioner nominee , Mr Ayorinde Olawoye was unavoidably absent and would be confirmed at a later date.
