“Omisore Has No Business Contesting To Become Gov” Powerful Osun Politician Oke Declares As PDP Goes All Out Against Ex-Senator

The ripples of Otunba Iyiola Omisore’s decision to break off negotiation with stakeholders in and outside Osun state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party concerning his next political move has started pouring.

Insiders disclosed just as Omisore is insisting on his gubernatorial ambition those against his ambition have taken a posture – the former Senator would not get the ticket to represent the party in the September 22 electoral contest.

Societynow gathered that to show how serious they are, a major player in the negotiating team and powerful chieftain of the PDP in Osun state, Wole Oke has come out publicly to take on Omsisore on his ambition and claims of being the soul and figure of the party in Osun state.

The normally low profile Oke widely acknowledged as a major pillar of the PDP in the state and at the national level publicly responded to Omisore’s statement insisting on his gubernatorial ambition with this highly insightful facebook comment.

Omisore by now shouldn’t be talking about Governorship if you truly love him . With his acclaimed position and exposure haven been Chairman Senate Committee on Appropriation of the Fed Republic of Nigeria I expect him to go for higher position like VP or Presidency .

Common inter party differences in small Osun State ,he can’t resolve it , he can’t call everybody together like Baba SM Afolabi used to.

“You will be shocked that Osun PDP will produce a Governor come September this year .
More people are now coming out . Initially I reasoned that he is the only one prepared but I can see many other Aspirants who are professional Financial Engineers that can quick fix Osun State.

I and my Friends are ready to support any Candidate Osun PDP Family presents to the electorates with our resources , goodwills and intellectual capacity .

I have had 6 Meetings with Sen Omisore pleaded and begged him that we should resolved Osun State PDP crisis . Urged Adagunodo group to make sacrifice and concessions so that we can make progress in the interest of our teeming followers and supporters who also want to be someone through our Party . Lots of our youths want to be Councilor, PA to Councilor, Council Chairmen , Vice Chairmen , Supervisory Councilors, Commissioners, SA /PA to Governor etc about 6,000 offices will be open for our Party Members . Rather than accept my pleas, he castigated me malign my character as not been straight forward and consistent as if I have ever had any business dealings with him that has gone bad .

For records, I have never had any business dealings with Sen Omisore in my entire life . I have in the contrary ever been his supporter since he joined politics during Abacha regime. I have been in politics before him . Did Sen Omisore featured during SDP NRC politics ? He was into his business.

It’s time for Osun PDP Members to wake up and take their future in their hands otherwise God forbids, another 8 years will pass by”

Omisore angered by a report which leaked looming outcome of ongoing negotiation with his party men had released a scathing statement insisting his gubernatorial ambition remains “sacrosanct”.
