The administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun has adopted a tough stance over what it labeled “indecent dressing” among civil servants in the state.

A letter which brought the development to the attention of top government officials in the state – career and political – including the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi and signed by Permanent Secretary, Dahunsi Ogunleye on behalf of the Head of Service threatens to deal with indecent dressers among the state workers according to the “provisions of the public service rules”.

The “circular letter” which the writer urged to be given the “the wildest publicity it deserves “itemizes some of the forms of indecent dressing as “coloured hair”, “painted nails” and “unethical make up indiscriminately”.

The letter with the header “curbing indecent dressing in the civil/public service” spotted by SocietyNow.Ng is dated “3rd February 2022”.
