Notorious Gridlock At Lambata- Maje- Dikko Road Cleared

The Joint Task Force set up by Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has cleared the gridlock at the Lambata- Maje- Dikko road.

The Chairman of the Task force who doubles as the Commissioner for Homeland Security, Gen. Bello Abdullahi Mohammed (Rtd), led the exercise with the support of the Assistant Corps Marshall of the Federal Road Safety Corps in charge of FCT and Niger, Hafiz Mohammed, and some members of the Corps, representatives of the Nigeria Police, Civil Defence Corps, Department of State Security and the Vehicle Inspection Office. 

The Commissioner, however, advised the public to also consider using an alternative route from the Izom Cattle Market to Suleja as the Task Force continues to ensure free flow traffic.

Many motorists expressed appreciation and gratitude to Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for his efforts aimed at clearing the gridlock.

Farmer Governor Umaru Bago constituted the Task Force following the gridlock at the Lambata- Maje- Dikko road which resulted to days of untold hardship on commuters and motorists plying the road.

The Task Force was given 48 hours to clear the road which was done before the time elapsed.
