Nigeria’s most profitable bank, Zenith Bank, is celebrating its founder and chairman, Jim Ovia.

The chairman of the bank, which recently posted an impressive triple-digit profit growth from N1.33 trillion in Q3 2023 to N2.9 trillion in Q3 2024 (an increase of 118%), marks another year today.

At 73, he is being celebrated by the management of the financial institution that leads in various industry metrics,

including dividend payout, tier-1 capital, and market capitalization. They commemorated the occasion with a modest celebration.

Among the attendees are some key faces, including Group Managing Director (GMD) Dame Adaora Umeoji and Executive Directors Henry Oroh, Adobi Nwapa, Akin Ogunranti, and Lawani Adamu.
