Nobody in the Lagos state government and beyond toys with the influence of Tayo Ayinde, the Chief of Staff to Babajide Sanwo-Olu according to those in the know.

Insiders attribute the enormous clout of the mystique Chief of Staff fondly addressed as “Buffalo” to extra-ordinary rapport with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“He has always been one of the very reliable hands of Asiwaju Tinubu and clear indications are the roles he played in the first and second term elections of Sanwo-Olu” SocietyNow.Ng gathered.
Inside information revealed that Ayinde, branded Buffalo for his doggedness and tenacity of purpose and strategic thinking in turning around situations when faced with challenges, was charged with providing secured housing for the “campaign” and with massive input on spending coupled with other overlapping roles in both elections.
“The trust reposed in him by President Tinubu that is why attempts by some persons to stop his coming as Chief of Staff in Sanwo-Olu’s second term despite his contribution to the campaign did not fly” SocietyNow.Ng learned.
President Tinubu reportedly dismantled all plots against the 59-year-old and affirmed him as the Chief of Staff in the new tenure of Sanw-Olu.
“And that is the root of Ayinde’s massive influence, a rapport with the President that is seen to be more than even the one enjoyed by the Governor” according to those in the know.
Added revelation has it that it is also to the gain of the former State Security Service top man that the faces of the street power in Lagos state operating as controllers of the Nationa Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), Mustapha Adekunle (Seego) and Sulaimon Ojora (Kudety) have out this world respect for him.
And these are outside the strong ties and bonds he personally cultivated directly or indirectly over time.
