Information available to societynowng.com have it that newly sworn in local government in Ogun state have resorted to sharing offices in twos and threes.

Governor of the state, Ibikunle Amosun had created new council areas to the existing ones and gone ahead to conduct local government elections and swear in elected officers without offices for his creations.

Societynowng.com gathered to care for the resulting problem, the sworn in council chairmen now share offices in twos, threes and fours.

According to an insider ”the existing twenty local government secretariats now serve as operational base for all the elected 57 council chairmen”

Further revelation have it the arrangement is such that the chairmen resume at. The particular secretariat that cover’s their jurisdiction.

” The chairmen go to the secretariat that caters for the local government area their local council development area is carve out of” a source explained.

Societynowng.com gathered based on this arrangements, the numbers of chairmen to an office depends on the numbers of development areas carved out of the local government.

Some are said to have embraced the option of utilising alternate offices in the secretariat as a sort of practical approach for ”private meetings”.
