Narrow Escape For Occupants As Abuja Building Said To Be Owned By Ex Gov Collapses

According to a report available

Six persons in the wee hours of Monday escaped death as a building collapsed in Abuja.

The building, according to sources, collapsed around 1am.

It was said to be an office building located at Plot 444, Citec Villas area in Gwarinpa.

But it equally served as a residential building for some workers whose organizations could not be verified.
It was learnt that the building is owned by a former governor of Osun State.

Six persons have already been pulled out of the rubble, while two were still trapped as at press time.

Some personnel of the National Emergency Management Agency and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC are reported to be at the scene.
