Speaker of Lagos state House of Assemble, Adeyemi Ikuforiji has escaped visit to Jail.

He perfected the N1b bail bond slammed on him by the court in the ongoing N673m fraud allegation against him- within the stipulated 48hrs.

Sources confirmed on the heels of the scare he experienced in the development, the Lagos Speaker has initiated moves tofight back without falling contempt of court.

Along with his aide, he was slammed a N5b bail bond that was later reduced to N1b after appeals from their lawyers. The speaker was formerly on bail based on self recognition.

His camp takes this development as a grave twist in the unfolding drama. And if counter measure not adopted, with ‘inherent dangerous repercussion’

And his strategy is simple ‘ he wants to expose alleged sponsors of the allegations, and those working within the confines of the law to promote it’

His handlers are said to have kick started attempts at establishing links with between ‘these individuals’ and the celebrated fraud case drowning the image of the number 3 citizen of Lagos state.

Digs by societynowng.com unveiled names of Governor Babatunde Fashola and party man, Muiz Banire amongst those under their search light.

Their beam is on the Governor, based on believe that he is after Mr speaker in the role played during the Face of Lagos Mess that rocked the governor’s world. The drama saw Governor Fashola at the end of an impeachment threat from the house with Speaker Ikuforiji as arrow head. The house took the posture based on a series of allegations levelled against Mr Fashola by ‘in and out group’, Face of Lagos.

Mr Governor is alleged to be quietly playing the pay back time card in the fraud case against Ikuforiji. The objective is to discredit the Speaker’s image and weaken is political structure to the point of ‘lack of it’ as much as possible

In the case of Muiz Banire, the objective with is tagged same as with that of Mr Fashola, but with a different reason…they are both jostling to be the next governor of Lagos State.

Others are collaborators are said to be on the Speaker’s handlers list.

Insiders disclose effects of their underground fight back move should start manifesting in a couple of days time.

A keen follower of events however claimed the fall out of this prove may prove costly and injurious to the harmony of political party with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as national leader, Action Congress of Nigeria.
