Former commissioner in Ogun state, Bukola Olopade has reacted to report of his public brawl with Gubernatorial aspirant, Ladi Adebutu.

Olopade popularly known as Ozogbula says though he was a guest at Park Inn and ran into former State People’s Democratic Party Chairman Sikirulai Ogundele in the day referred to – the details of the meeting in the public space are incorrect.

“I only ran into Sikirulai Ogundele at the Hotel and Ladi was not there that day” he asserted.

“And my encounter with Ogundele wasn’t a major thing…it was just a causal meeting…we spoke, he said I was supporting Buruji and I told him no, that my support is for Yayi” Olopade stated in a chat with societynow and continued “there was no altercation and we parted ways.”

Olopade’s reaction contradicts those of multiple sources but he insists he stands by his version of the event.

He stressed he never had any face off with Adebutu to the point of threatening to “slap him”.

He, however, confirmed he is no longer a regular at Park Inn, the upscale hospitality place owned by Ladi’s lottery king father – Kessington Adebutu based on diverse political interests in the race to determine who becomes the next governor of Ogun state.
