Bukola Olopade’s Dilema In Ogun State’s Power Tussle
Labule Thomas
The man whose size does no justice to his wealth of influence, Bukola Olopade has not said bye bye to politics.
The power packed bundle of energy is at the center of intense wooing in Ogun Central Senatorial district of Ogun state.
The former commissioner is being drawn from two sides – either to support the candidate of his party the People’s Democratic Party or throw weight behind his political leader, Titi Oseni.
The catch is that Oseni who Olopade has great affection and respect for is contesting on the platform of the African Democratic Congress.
Oseni goes against Bisola Shodipe Clark, wife of Ijaw Leader Edwin who is the PDP candidate and ruling All Progressives Congress flag bearer for same position – Governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Meanwhile, there may be speculation on where he will pitch his tent political – openly and underground, what is without a doubt is that the man behind the Lagos Marathon with Access Bank as major sponsor intends to replicate the event in Ogun state capital next year.
