Amid ongoing political drama seeing the switching of camps by politicians in Ogun State, the go-to person for any major request or related things from former Governor Ibikunle Amosun has been unveiled.

He is identified as Muyiwa Oladipo, a former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly (1999 to 2003).

Oladipo is a long-term ally of Amosun.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that Oladipo was a top player in the 2007 unsuccessful attempt by Amosun to become the Governor of Ogun state on the platform of the All Nigeria’s People Party(ANPP).

And was also a part of the process that got Amosun elected as the Governor of Ogun State under the emblem of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) – which later transformed into the All Progressives Congress (APC) – in 2011.

Amosun served as a two-term Governor of Ogun State from 2011 to 2019.

The “issues” were later put to rest and their relationship rebounded like never before according to those in the know.

This development comes in the face of the leaving of staunch Amosun support, Derin Adebiyi, and other loyalists to the camp of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Adebiyi who was a prominent face in the Amosun political family was a top-level advisor as the Chairman of the faction of the APC in Ogun state loyal to the former Governor.
