Jango is the Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s version of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s MC Oluomo (Musiliu Akinsanya).

Oluomo is an executive member of the Lagos state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport workers in charge of a part of the volatile area of Oshodi for the transport union body.

Oluomo is Tinubu’s widely acknowledged man in charge of mobilizing street support and related ‘’duties’’ to support the political cause of the powerful politician.

Jango performs the same task and more for Governor Amosun societynow.ng learned.

Jango’s effectiveness reportedly played out in the show of strength by the Governor at the recently held All Progressives Congress Presidential campaign rally in Abeokuta, Ogun state sources confirmed to societynow.ng.

But who actually is Jango?

Jango’s real name is Adeosun.

‘’His name is Hakeem Adeosun’’ a source stated.

‘’Jango is the head of the transport union operators in Ogun state whether you belong to the National Union of Road Transport Workers or Road Transport Workers Employers Association of Nigeria’’ another source quipped to societynow.ng.

Jango reportedly achieved the feat of having members of the two formidable transport union associations under his control courtesy of the backing of Governor Amosun.

‘’Amosun called the leadership of the two unions to a meeting and announced their disbandment. He put Jango in charge of their activities in the face of pressure to let them resume operations’’ societynow.ng’s source stated.

The move reportedly provided Jango with an army of supporters to fight the cause of the Governor whenever the need arises.

Interestingly multiple sources confirmed that Jango was not really a transport union member or operator.

According to the investigation conducted by societynow.ng Jango is a long term passionate supporter and street muscle for Amosun.

‘’Their rapport started in the days Amosun was in ANPP and became a Senator. Jango reportedly stayed faithful to Amosun when he couldn’t secure political office and was in the thick of the campaign that brought Amosun to power as governor of Ogun state.’’ Another source divulged.

Societynow.ng gathered Governor Amosun created a ‘’motor garage’’ – out of town – for Jango to run as one of the ways to compensate the street muscle’s die-hard loyalty.

Multiple sources confirmed that move created the in-road for Jango to transform the man now in charge of all transport union workers in Ogun state.

The checks conducted by societynow.ng revealed that Jango’s business is not just the transport union business, the popular supporter of Governor Amosun is said to own a self-named Petrol station.

‘’Of course, the petrol station is not named Jango!’’ a source stated and clarified ‘’he named it Adeosun’’.

The added information available has it that Jango is also a heavy investor in the real estate business in Ogun state, particularly Abeokuta.

‘’He ranks high along with Amosun as a property owner in Abeokuta’’ societynow.ng learned.

Ironically, those who are very familiar with Jango label him a very friendly and always ready to help when he is not in the thick of action for his patron.

‘’He does a lot of good. Jango is very kind, He is always helping people with this and that issue, financial or otherwise. I know people that end up not paying for fuel at his petrol station and most of them don’t know him from Adam’’ a source stated.

Towering in height – slightly above six feet -, Jango is said to be in the early part of sixty in age.
