Seyi Makinde Scores 2 Goals In Football Match, Says Indication Of What To Expect In 2nd Term

Governor Seyi Makinde was on the scoring sheet in a football match between the teams of the Executive and Legislative arms of government in Oyo State.

The governor scored two goals in the football match at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba Oyo State.

Speaking on his feat at the exhibition match that was played on Sunday, Makinde declared that “these 2 goals are a foregleam of the wins the good people of Oyo State can expect under Omituntun 2.0.”

Omituntun 2.0 is the campaign slogan for Makinde’s second-term ambition.

The Governor came into office on the wings of the campaign slogan of Omititun – a new chapter- in 2019 as the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

He goes into the 2023 election in pursuit of a second term as the leader of the party in Oyo State.

The football team of the executive arm of government he captained in Sunday’s exhibition match put together by the Seyi Makinde Football Volunteer Movement won the bout against that of the legislative arm.
