Insiders disclose an alliance is being formed at the grass root level in Lagos state.

Re-election seeking incumbent Akinwunmi Ambode is listed as not yet a consensus candidate.

According to a source “at the end of the day, they would be the hand of Tinubu and the voice of the chairmen on whatever issue they decide to speak on, especially as regards the decision on who becomes next governor of Lagos state”.

Though re-election seeking incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode- said to be at odds with political leader Asiwaju Tinubu- is decorated with endorsements here and there, those who should know insist the decision on who becomes party candidate remain open.

And that despite is the rash of endorsements coming his way, Ambode still has “certain issues” to iron out with party leaders, especially Asiwaju Tinubu and his hardcore loyalists still smarting from the administrative style of Governor’s administration.
