Kola Daisi’s Former Lotto Nigeria Head Office Property Falls Into Disrepair 2yrs After Kicking Out Son, Management!
…why plot to turn it into luxury flats is stalled
Over two years after kicking out his son, Odunlami Kola Daisi and the management of national lottery, Lotto Nigeria from his choice property on Anifowoshe street Victoria Island Lagos, Chief Kola Daisi has let the magnificent building gone to waste.
Visit to the site on Thursday August 8 2013 by societynowng.com confirmed this development.
The building has fallen into disrepair.
The coatings have started peeling off. And the white paint decorated with multiple patches of dirts all over.
An ambience of prolonged disuse pervaded the massive building. It was under lock and key- with a solitary security guard the only occupant.
It cuts the definition of ‘abandoned property’.
The notable money man had sacked his son, Odunlami and the management of the company he (kola Daisi) had a stake in over a six year rent arrears.
He had offered alternative accommodation of converting a warehouse to head office in a less prestigious part of town (Ilupeju Lagos) for the sacked crew.
They agreed and currently operate from the place.
Findings revealed Chief Kola Daisi had booted out the Lotto Nigeria crew with the intention of transforming the property into a more enterprising entity- to erect a colony of luxury flats at the place.
He had deployed workmen to go do a feasibility study- remove peripheral apparatus to pave way for his ambition.
Insiders revealed after surface works of a couple of days- the artisans were pulled of and the place left to waste since then.
Unconfirmed sources claimed inability to raise needed funds for speedy actualisation of the luxury flats project the reason for putting it on hold, making the property fall into disrepair by the day.
