Kogi!…Details As Exploded Petrol Tanker Claims Many, Including School Children In Festival Of Deaths

Emerging details have it that many people including school children were claimed in a festival of deaths this morning, September 23, 2020..

Societynow.ng gathered that this development is as a result of a petrol tanker which exploded in Felele, along the Lokoja- Abuja highway.

Information monitored by societynow.ng on punchng.com revealed that ‘’ The victims of the tanker explosion, which occurred around 8.30 am, close to the GT plaza included school children and students of the nearby Kogi State Polytechnic (KSP).’’

The report on punchng.com disclosed that the tanker exploded when it rammed into another vehicle and exploded on ‘’impact’’.

The tragic accident reportedly occurred close to GT Plaza, a fast food joint that doubled as a park for commercial vehicles plying interstate routes according to information available.

The inability of oncoming vehicles to evade the outbreak of fire reportedly worsened the situation.

School children were reportedly caught in the exploded fuel which spread the fire that razed over ten(10) vehicles.

Societynow.ng gathered from the report that the men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) ‘’temporarily’’ shut the road as parts of efforts to contain the tragedy.

Fire Fighters were said to have joined forces with the FRSC officers at the scene to bring the situation under control.
